What to Expect: Week 8, Season 22

For Week #8 of the 2018 FACSAP Harvest, we anticipate the following this Thursday, 12 July:

BLENHEIM ORGANIC GARDENS – Lawrence & Becky Latané

• Select from a choice of Roc’ dor Beans or Sun Gold Tomatoes

GREEN THUMB GROWERS – Tom Miller

• Kohlrabi

The Kohlrabi harvest is small this week, so we will be giving members an option of Kohlrabi from Green Thumb Growers OR Swiss Chard from Guerra Gardens for your shares.

DOWNTOWN GREENS YOUTH FARM PROGRAM – Jennifer Gron

• Harvest Treasure Chest - Select a either a bundle of baby greens or a bundle of fresh basil. Each Share may select one item this week.

HARTLAND NATURAL FARM – Jamie Whitaker

• Tomatoes, large variety

• Herb Assortment: select from parsley, mint, basil of several types, arugula, rosemary, thyme

• Onion Share: select from onions or leeks (or garlic)

The okra is coming up, along with cucumbers for a late summer harvest, and more beans. :-). Have a blessed week!
