What to Expect: Week #18, Season 22

For Week #18 of the 2018 FACSAP Harvest, we anticipate the following this Thursday, September 27:

BLENHEIM ORGANIC GARDENS – Lawrence & Becky Latané

• Elephant Garlic

Rain has interfered with digging sweet potatoes, so we will have a large sweet potato share for the last CSA.

GUERRA FARM – José Antonio Guerra Martinez

• Tomatoes

• Sweet Peppers

HARTLAND NATURAL FARM – Jamie Whitaker

• Mixed Salad Greens

Additional Produce for Sale:

• ROCK RUN CREEK FARM – Francis Ngoh

Rock Run Creek Farm will have Shiitake Mushrooms for sale to members directly for pick-up this Thursday. Fall veggies ( broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, kale, swiss chard, Brussels sprouts, beets, lettuce, collards ) and mushrooms should be available mid-October through early winter. Weekly updates to be provided.

• CARDINAL APIARIES – Pete Burt

Honey Shares remain available for anyone wishing to receive additional honey each month during the remaining FACSAP harvest season. Sign up forms available at the «Side Share» table near the check-in book. Next delivery is this Thursday, 27 September.

• GOAT MILK SOAP SHARES available from COLEBROOK GARDEN – Jennifer Gron.
