What to Expect - Week #16, Season 22

For Week #16 of the 2018 FACSAP Harvest, we anticipate the following this Thursday, September 13:

BLENHEIM ORGANIC GARDENS – Lawrence & Becky Latané

• Head lettuce (OR Green Beans from Green Thumb Growers)

• Okra

• Cucumbers

GREEN THUMB GROWERS – Tom Miller

• Green Beans (OR Head Lettuce from Blenheim Organic Gardens)

GUERRA FARM – José Antonio Guerra Martinez

• Watermelon

• Butternut Squash

• Tomatoes

HARTLAND NATURAL FARM – Jamie Whitaker

• Late Summer Greens Share: a combination of mixed baby greens/young greens such as mizuna mustard, rainbow chard, purslane, kale, and a little lettuce sprinkled in. If we run short, some shares will be basil and green onions--all things green!

• Summer Vegetable Assortment: items in this assortment to include eggplant, yellow wax beans, summer squash, okra, and purple hull peas, with the shares individually bagged

Good morning! Hope everyone is taking the rain all right! We needed it here, though it could get to be too much over the next few days; our squash and beans don't want too much wetness.
