What to Expect - Week #12, Season 22

For Week # 12 of the 2018 FACSAP Harvest, we anticipate the following this Thursday, August 9:

BLENHEIM ORGANIC GARDENS – Lawrence & Becky Latané

• Tomatoes – a variety of slicers and cherries

• Thai Basil bunches

Glad the corn was appreciated. Unfortunately that was the second planting--the first would have been ready to harvest two or three weeks earlier but got flooded and did not germinate---such has been the story of this difficult year. I do have popcorn and heirloom corn for corn meal, but they will be late, yet, hopefully in time for FACSAP.

GREEN THUMB GROWERS – Tom Miller

Green Thumb Growers has no harvest delivery this week. Our next harvest will be green beans in late August.

DOWNTOWN GREENS YOUTH FARM PROGRAM – Jennifer Gron

Downtown Greens expects to deliver an assortment of hot peppers, sweet peppers, and herbs this week. Maybe some ground cherries too.

GUERRA FARM – José Antonio Guerra Martinez

• Sweet Corn

• Eggplant

• Zucchini

• Sweet Peppers

• Kale (optional, 20 bunches will be available for those who would like to have it J)

HARTLAND NATURAL FARM – Jamie Whitaker

• Tomatoes mixed variety – large slicing and Roma

• Arugula

ROCK RUN CREEK FARM – Francis Ngoh

Rock Run Creek farm has no harvest delivery this week. Expecting mushrooms soon -- shiitakes and oysters! Thank you.

CARDINAL APIARIES – Pete Burt
